Blue is a color I associate with winter. I think the first photo's colors reflect the temperature and the atmosphere of the photograph. It was slightly cropped and levels were adjusted. The blanket shows how blue can also represent something soft and warm. The levels were slightly adjusted to show depth. In the engine photo, levels and saturation were adjusted to make the blue knob stand out from its background. The final photo was slightly cropped and levels slightly adjusted. I wanted to keep the natural blue tone from the original photograph.
That was way cool because I wouldnt normally associate blue with winter, but now that you say it, winter is totally blue! You really found some very unique things that were blue. You are a great photographer!
ReplyDeleteWow, these are impressive pictures. I like the combination of shots you took. They all look really well done. "Jeans" looks like the inside of CD. I love it!
ReplyDeleteOh man, your pictures make my pictures look like a three old took them even though I know I am not a photographer. Love the ice cold blue, brings some emotion. I like how you caught the sun right about the blue car.
ReplyDeleteLOVE THEM. I also think winter is blue. My two favorite elements are the sun on the van and the cap in the engine. (Way to look out for the unusual.)
